Black Cape Temple It is a small temple that was discovered in 1936 and the rest of it is now not a temple in the understandable sense but rather it is a small structure located on the road from Alexandria to the suburb of Abu Qir. It consists of two lower floors for worship and the upper housing. The temple, which is located on a high poduim floor, consists of a staircase leading to a hallway with four columns (Ionian style). This lobby leads to a small square room, almost with a side staircase located in the eastern wall. The upper part consists of two rooms, one of which was found in the remains of the marble slabs that were covering its floor, and there are indications that there are other rooms in this place, perhaps stores of food also there indicates what there is a small water channel and the architectural characteristics of this temple indicate that it was located in the middle of the second century AD . The history of the Latin Cemetery, known as the Alabaster, dates back to the early Ptolemaic period. As for the Black Head Temple, it was moved from its original place to this site, which is the first private temple built by a member of the people and its history dates back to the Roman era.
