As an Australian citizen I was under the impression that embassys exist (at least in part) to help their citizens overseas. I wasn't even allowed to enter the waiting room here. Super unAustralian place. If your require assistance as an Australian while in Egypt, I wouldn't bother with the embassy.

Australia rules visa are very restricted. Don't waste your time and go to Australia because because they only take people who have skills like doctors. Due the lebanese gang in Sydney doing a lot of trouble in country they got sick of Arab people.
