In every city I Stied for some time I look for Syrian food items that I can’t live without like good hummus or homemade labane, Cairo was not an exception, I looked for Syrian food items and I had to go far out of the city borders to get what I want until finally I was introduced to this place near downtown, their hummus is amazing their Labane is very good, their selection of food items like virgin olive oil is very good, their Syrian sweet collection is descant and well made, their prices in general are good and moderate, the service is very friendly if they don’t have what you want they till you exactly when they going to have it, they do have a delivery service and their location is in the middle of the city, once again their hummus is the best hummus in town.

Arguably the best Syrian dairy, cheese and hummus around town. Prices are a tad above average, which is understandable given the location, overheards and quality. Delicious hummus and Labna, exquisite makdous, tasty and healthy vegetarian falafel paste, Oriental sweets (not their best, mind you!), Interesting and bizarre herbs from Argentina and Brazil. Give it a go and explore!

Picture Damascus in Cairo, more compact in size, but no less in quality. Welcoming you with a good old genuine smile is a sextagenerian Syrian ... Heart warming, really. Neat, spotless and appetizing goodies, including some hard to find items, like that famous Shanklish cheese in 3 flavors (Nigella, chilli and cummin). Raw falafel paste, an excellent freshly prepared hummus and labna ... Delight over delight !
