La cattedrale di San Marco è la principale chiesa copta d'Egitto e sede del Papa copto. Situata nel distretto di Abbassia, l'attuale edificio è stato realizzato sotto Cirillo VI e inaugurato nel 1968. La chiesa è dedicata all'Evangelista Marco e ne conserva alcune reliquie trasportate dalla Basilica di San Marco a Venezia. The cathedral of San Marco is the main Coptic church of Egypt and home of the Coptic Pope. Located in the district of Abbassia, the current building was built under Cirillo VI and inaugurated in 1968. The church is dedicated to the Evangelist Mark and preserves some relics carried from the Basilica of San Marco in Venice. La cathédrale de San Marco est la principale église copte d'Egypte et la maison du pape copte. Situé dans le quartier d'Abbassia, le bâtiment actuel a été construit sous Cirillo VI et inauguré en 1968. L'église est dédiée à la marque évangéliste et conserve quelques reliques de la basilique Saint-Marc de Venise.
