Its soooo beautiful. It is volcano's lava. When you approach the mountain the lava are balck rocks. When you start walking up the mountain and you approach the summit, you realize that the volcano's lava made the rocks all pressed one against each other. Something phenominal. You just have to wear good climing boots or shoes. Some rocks are slippery. Must be careful. It is the highest summit in the black desert. I have never immagined that a desert can be or have a magical view

This desert is fantastic. Despite the great effort required to reach the top of some mountains, it is well worth going there to contemplate the surrounding area. It is too beautiful. A great lonely place to reflect on life and contemplate the nature and beauty of God's creation.

signs of a very volcanic past, this part of the western desert is called the black desert (الصحراء السوداء) which starts from around Bahariya and continues South for a while, is littered with black volcanic rocks. The black desert is very interesting and is even more interesting when contrasted with the other areas of the desert between the oases.

It is a fantastic place, small sand mountains covered by black stones, the stones are back and cover most of the desert so it called “black desert” Preferably to visit on winter or Autumn, avoid going on summer it is too hot and very sunny.
