Literally , this Station is a nightmare .. i recommend getting a bus and paying 4LE Maximum to Al dokki Station better than going into this Horrible Station .. The outside is a total mess and it's so nasty and the people there are so Irregular .. and the Staircase is so High for nothing, literally my knees hurt after climbing 4 Staircases.
I never use this station, the outside area of this station is a nightmare
I notice many travelers head to there thinking this could get them closer to the pyramids. Please don't, it is really crowded and hard to get to anywhere from there. People there are not really familiar with tourists, and you may get some unpleasant encounter with high school students or street sellers. If you have to take the subway to the nearest point to the pyramids, then get off in the next station, Giza, and try to read my review over there.
Probably the worst station in the 2nd line of the subway, outside the station just horrible. The gates always broken.
I still give 5 stars even the outside is horrible and anyone can enter without putting their bags/plastic bags on xray machines..
Very difficult to get to it and outside the place is just horrible. Crowded most of the times, too little waiting seats.
