It's a good place to visit and see the history of papyrus. They explained & showed me how this paper is made from the special plant stem. If we cut and leave the stem in water for too long the paper will be dark, if we leave it for a shorter period it will be light in colour. After that the stems are let to dry in the sun. One way to identify a real papyrus and fake one is the real will have both horizontal and vertical stripes,whereas the fake one will have either vertical or horizontal stripes. If you fold the real papyrus it will not break and there will be no marks but whereas the fake one will break and have marks. They have variety types of design in these you can have for a single person,family, couples,father son,mother son,brother related design.they even have the one which if u switch off the light will glow in dark. These papyrus designs are available in various colours,type,sizes design. You can have names engraved on these in Egyptian alphabet. They will hand it over to you all the details as required. The one I bought has Egyptian Calendar in it. It shows 12 months, 24 hours in a day.various seasons, and various horoscopes in it. I got this one for my family. You can put it in a photo frame and post it. It will last a lifetime. Make sure you have some good Bargaining skills.

This is the most beautiful papyrus museum in the pyramids of Giza. This is a museum consisting of all kinds of shapes of papyrus. There are papyrus of all sizes, and there are also drawings as you like. You see them. Draws for you any drawing you like and writes for you any book that you like to write already respected people There are very, very good masters. The owner of the museum is dealing with the utmost sophistication and respect. There are workers in all languages. There are also there. The prices there are very, very excellent than any prices found in all the pyramids of Giza in the proportion to the prices that are found in the rest of the region. I was a local guide Google I recommend this The place is for all visitors to the Giza pyramids area because of the sophistication in dealing and the special prices. Thanks to all the workers who work in this museum

Best place to buy papyrus in giza. They have a great collection of it with the best prices. They are on a walking distance from the pyramids. They don't hassle, very friendly and excited to give information about the papyrus even when they are sure you are not going to buy anything. I highly recommend it.

Authentic store. I cant call it museum because there are no historical artifact there. But fair prices and good quality.
