This is one of the most amazing and biggest temples in Egypt! with with a great entrance, great architecture. This is the simplest description of this pharaonic architectural masterpiece. These photos will take you on a short, brief journey inside the temple from the entrance to the exit.. Note: Follow the rest of the temple sites and you will complete the story.

The first time I was there in Karnak temple and before that first pylon, was greater than any expectations I ever had. The Egyptian old civilization is more fantastic and the ancient Egyptians must be studied widely and deeply, how they in that early time and before many thousands of years do that great pylons, pillars, structures and buildings and still until this time stand though time and environmental factors. That's unbelievable, they must knew something we don't know in spite of our modern science and technology. This is something should push us to think and study.

Fantastic. Should visit in early morning and evening to appreciate it. Watch for the levels marked by Nepolian himself on it to get an idea of original levels, current and the effort of excavations. The best way is to buy a Luxor pass from the office adjacent to Luxor museum which will give you unlimited access for five days to all archeological sites and museums for 160 USD per person. If you buy a similar Cairo pass at 80 USD from Cairo museum, you will get a 50% reduction in Luxor. For persons below thirty with a valid student identity card, there is a reduction of 50% as well. The omnipresent Egyptian culture of "Baksheesh" is here. Even for showing statue they will ask for it. Worst part is that they are not satisfied, whatever you pay, they will ask for more. Don't entertain people offering voluntary information and even if they ask for Baksheesh, firmly reject it. Nothing will happen.
