Excellent place! This is a beautiful property at a wonderful location overlooking the Nile, and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and have all the amenities one would need - neat beds, clean bathrooms, fresh towels, gas stove, fridge, TV, Air conditioner, washing machine etc. The terrace offers a terrific ambiance at night with all its dimly lit lights and with the cool breeze flowing from the Nile. We spent much time on the terrace, lazying around and watching the Nile and life flow by. There are many restaurants, cafes and food and sheesha joints around and we loved strolling around the neighborhood everyday at dawn and dusk. Hagag is a wonderful person and was an amazing host. The communication with him was very efficient and he had been there to help us all through without being intrusive. Not only did he show us places around, gave local tips and helped us buy stuffs at the local markets at Egyptian rates (as opposed to the higher 'touristy' rates sometimes quoted by sellers to non-Egyptians), but also ensured we are comfortable throughout our stay. Hagag was kind enough to invite us to his home for lunch and it was an incredible experience to sit together with his family and have meal the Egyptian way. Hagag offered us his tours and taxi service but never pressurised us to take his services. Overall I had an incredible experience here! I am definitely going to book Hagag's place if I visit Luxor again and will gladly recommend this place to all guests.
