I visited the temple today and took many pictures. Egypt, since long time, was advanced in science that is modern today. Those who were at that time nearly 4 centuries ago thinking about astronomy and health, their history was told by inscriptions on the walls and on them. The construction of the temple columns was an easy matter for the largest building. THE ( Pyramids)

Great ancient site. Definitely should be on your world sites list. The tour guides here were less agressive than at other locations. 3 metal detectors to get in. No hassle about cameras.

Truly wonderful to view these historical landmarks. It's a pity this country is so backwards that they cannot empower the people and community to uplift the city and bring it up to decent standards.

Interesting place to visit, right in town. If you visit independently you will be hounded by would- be guides, as usual. The ticket price shown here is for locals, foreigners have to pay much more, I think it was EGP160.

We visited Luxor temple in January 2019. Located in Luxor, the temple is dedicated to the god Amun and has been built initially by Amenhotep III and after by other pharaons (e.g. : Toutankhamon, Ramses II).We were impressed by these colossal monuments (built at different periods), especially the beautiful with low-relief carvings, the stone colossus of Ramses II, the huge colonnade of Amenhetep III's and the large pyramid! It was both a dazzling and amazing visit!!!
