We visited this alabaster shop with our tour group a few years back and LOVED it! This shop provided us demonstrations on how alabaster products are made and how to tell them apart from the fakes that are found in the bazaars, along with textiles and basalt products. The store is massive and and we started to struggle with what we could pick out because we wanted it all. In the end, we brought back a couple beautiful alabaster vases, a basalt mortar and pestle, and 2 alabaster scarabs that now proudly decorate our living room. The prices are higher than what you'll find in your typical bazaar but it's because they're the real deal that are made by hand and not cheap machine-made imitations.
