Very fast affordable and efficient service. Very polite and pleasant personnel and doctors. Non invasive and non painful swab test. Went at 11.00 am; no lines. I did the Antigen (Rapid) test, paid the fee and in 10 minutes i had the paper and left. Re: PCR see all other comments.

We were here to do the Covid test. They have Pcr and Antigen. We did Antigen test, they only asked for our passport,copy of the passort, flight no. and 320LE. They open at 9 but I will advise you to get there earlier. We were at 8:10 and by 8:25 there were already 25 persons. They actually opened earlier around 8:40. After 9:30 is more chill. If you take the PcR here you have to pick it up from somewhere else. They have a copy machine inside the building if we don't have copies, but I guess it costs like 5LE. There is also a shop across the street whete you can take the copy. It took around 30min for the result. They were very nice.

You will need your passport, ideally photocopied in advance, then you join the paying queue at the back of the room, photocopy the pink receipt they give you with the on site photocopier, give both passport copy and receipt copy to the people near the sampling room and wait for your name to be called. The PCR is 480 LE and the rapid test 320 LE. They didn't look at my hotel booking or flight ticket. Collect the results the next day here المعمل المشترك It's horrendously badly organised and took over an hour being stuck inside with stressed out idiotic tourists who don't listen to the few staff trying and failing to organise it... But it's cheap at 30 USD (480 LE) for PCR or 20 USD (320 LE) and the medics seemed competent, if stressed. Unfortunately it was a nose one...(maybe that was just PCR) I'm telling you what to do because they didn't....

This is the only place where tourists can get a PCR test for departure. The cost is USD30 and results should be picked up the day after at the Government's Collective Lab (المعمل المشترك). The process is a bit hectic, little information is offered, queues are long and many people try to cut the line. There is no social distancing and mask wearing is not enforced.

From 24.02.2021 you can get PCR test here then collect the result at the downtown. You would need a copy of your passport and 30/480L.E
