However, its transport activities and experience date back to 1939 as a continuation to GAMAL EL DIN LEHETA & CO. EGYTRANS was nationalized in 1964 when it was one of the biggest companies in EGYPT offering shipping agency, tourism agency and other transport services. The company was originally established as a limited liability company with a capital of EGP 10,000. It is now a corporation with capital of LE 156,062,500 and annual turnover of LE 190 million.
