Adjacent to the Kom Ombu temple is the famous and quite unique Crocodile Museum. As you walk into the doors, you'll hear gasps of awe from fellow tourists! I was quite shocked myself as turning the corner I came across a line of crocodiles facing me! There are 22 mummified crocodiles arranged on a sandy slope inside a huge glass case. There is also a collection of coffins and mummified crocodiles in their wood sarcophagi. Some eggs are also on display here. There are also a collection of wooden and granite crocodile statues and items of mummification. This museum is definitely a must see.
like
Crocodile Museum. It's well worth a visit for its beautiful collection of mummified crocodiles and ancient carvings, which is well lit and well explained. The museum is also dark and air-conditioned.
Being one of a kind, this museum is dedicated exclusively to crocodiles. This museum is located at the doorstep of of the Ptolemaic Kom Ombo temple.A collection of crocodile coffins and wooden sarcophagi, along with crocodile eggs are on display. Sobek mummification processes are also illustrated along with the funerary ceremony and burial. I highly recommend this place.

Very good coffee
Very cool to see such well preserved crocodile mummies. Also the art works and other preserved items are extremely interesting and will show how the crocodiles were worshipped.
