Best vinyl store in town. The essence of vintage turntables and old records fill the place along with the hospitality of the people who run the place. There is always a good bargain and brilliant records to find there. Although the store is a bit tight but you forget where you are and lose track of time once you drown yourself into their more than amazing collection. Records are neatly organized and well-kept.
This is one of the oldest records shop in Cairo, Located in the Northern part of Zamalek - Gezira Island in a small shopping center at "Al Masry Towers". I had only a few hours left in Cairo, so I called them and told them I would like to arrive at about 20:00. I arrived and Sherry and her son were waiting for me! the offered some hot sweet tea, and tons of patience, I wanted to listen to some Classic Arabic Music, although there is a huge selection of music and not only Arabic music. Also you can buy there antiques such as 78 rpm Gramophone, old radios and tv sets. Her son is a well educated man who speaks English fluently who knows a lot about Vinyl collecting. They also gave me a gift! and after an hour or so I found what I was looking for, and last sip of the tea and I had to go back to my hotel. A RARE AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER! IT IS ADVISABLE TO CALL AND SET UP A MEETING THEY WILL WAIT FOR YOU WITH SOME HOT TEA! NO CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED! CASH ONLY! ENGLISH IS NO PROBLEM!

Very nice record shop. Excellent selection of both local and international music. The man who worked there (maybe the owner) was VERY nice, and not pushy at all. He served us tea and sat with us while he showed us some nice Egyptian music on his computer. It was sweet. The prices are a little higher than I expected, but the guy is selling his treasures. Definately worth a visit! The store has a great selection of vintage stereo equipment as well.
Woow place,dig in deep and you shall find what you look for. I am like a Kid in this store,leaving with a full bag of singles or albums and a biiig smile on my face.Both Emad and Khalid very helpful and knowledgable shopkeepers assisting you through thousands of records.They have the best selection of albums within 6-7 vinyl sellers I visited in Cairo.
The vinyls are organised per genre, reasonable prices and there's a friendly man who helps you through them.
