Worst food I have ever had in Egypt. In flight meal was better and that's saying something.. Grilled chicken was so dry could only manage one bite. Chips soggy. No tahini included as was shown on menu picture. Bad service from the moment we walked in. Couldn't care less about our feedback. The restaurant being empty should have been a clue. Avoid if you can.

Please please please do yourself a favor a DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT. I ordered the classic burger(Big mistake on my part for not thinking to not eat meat) and my sister ordered pasta with red sauce. Her pasta ended up being literally tomato juice with under cooked spaghetti on top. Lousy effort. The worst part was the intense food poisoning that I had to endure due to the burger that I had consumed. I was nauseous, dizzy, and was vomitting and had diarrhea for 3 days after. I would not wish this pain even on my worst enemy. Do not eat at Hippopotamus in the Cairo Airport.

The worst burger I have ever had, seriously! The food is horrible, the service is very bad also and the atmosphere is not good either. There is nothing good about this place, burgers at Burger King are a lot better and a lot cheaper also! Oh, wait, you only want to have some beers while you watch a football match. Fine, don't order food.

Food is way overvalued and they don’t accept Amex. When paying in dollars they charge you another 15% on the exchange rate. Overall bad experience

I wanted to eat here because it looked like the only place in the airport that can serve keto diet friendly food. The service is really bad. They didn’t even care to take my order after sitting for 10 minutes and asking for the menu. I am typing this while walking to burger king to check out my options.
