Academy for International Development–Middle East (AID-ME), is a consultancy organization based in Cairo, Egypt, and is run by a group of dynamic, motivated, seasoned staff in numerous and diversified fields of development. AID-ME is working in the fields of socio-economic development, governance, and civic participation throughout the Middle East and Africa, through a series of partnerships with local and international organizations operating in these different locations. Since its establishment in 2006, the founders and Board of Trustees have been working together to provide development services and technical assistance to different national, regional, and international organizations, to increase their proficiency in planning, implementation, and mid-term & final project evaluation of different programs &projects that initiate and maintain positive changes in their communities. In Egypt, AID-ME has three community and training centres in South Sinai, in addition to a recent one that recently launched in Cairo in year 2011. AID-ME also has regional expansion and presence through its affiliation with national organizations in Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza strip, Tunisia, and Yemen.
