Ras Ghareb Wind Energy SAE, is a company created in 2017 to build, own and operate a wind farm located in vicinity of Ras Ghareb, in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. The 262.5 MW wind farm will comprise 125 wind turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energies. The civil works and electrical substation are provided by Orascom Construction. The company is owned by ENGIE, Toyota Tsusho, Eurus Energy and Orascom Construction. The wind farm is scheduled to reach commercial operation by December 2019.
