he Regional Center for Mycology and Biotechnology is a governmental, non-profit, regional research center, that was established in 1993 by Azhar University in Egypt. RCMB established to act as a regional center of excellence for Mycology and Biotechnology research and education in efforts to fosters innovative, research-driven approach to answer fundamental questions in Microbiology Science, with an intent to translating that into societal and economic benefits. Over the last 26 years, we have achieved a range of fundamental breakthroughs, by providing scientific research and training programs that strengthen the regional scientific capabilities, resulting in major regional societal impacts.
