Al Razzaz House It is located in Bab Al-Wazir Street in Al-Darb Al-Ahmar district in Cairo The House of Razzaz dates back to the fifteenth century, and is known as the house of Sultan Qaytbay, while the large western section dates back to the eighteenth century and was built by Prince Ahmed Ketkhda al-Razzaz in 1778 CE. Sultan Qaytbay was the first to establish the Razzaz House, then it was expanded over time, bringing the number of its rooms to more than 190 rooms, and there are two spacious courtyards on the east and west side of the house. - The Razzaz House was two different homes for two families, until the intermarriage between the two families occurred at the beginning of the nineteenth century, and then the two homes were merged together, and for this reason, Bait Al Razzaz is a residential complex from the Mamluk era. Its façades overlook two different streets, from the eastern side overlooking Bab al-Wazir Street, and from the northern side overlooking Souk El-Salah Street. - The Razzaz House is located between the Citadel and Bab Zuweila, where the distance between them is in the middle, and it has an area of \u200b\u200b3400 square meters, and despite its large area, its external facades are small in size.
