it was a pleasure getting there on boat. walked around under the warm African sun looking at a historic site. My favorite part, unlike other temple's, they had an open air cafe at the coast. It was a well need establishment

This place is amazing i just don’t like that half of Egypt was re-built and moved from its original location. It lost the “magic” I thought that they found it there. But according to my guide, this temple was moved from its original location. It still has a lot of history to offer!

This temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, which was flooded by the waters of the Nile, was divided and reassembled in a new location on the island of Agelica, about 500 meters from its original place on the island of Philae, and its buildings include a temple of Hathor, and the visitor can watch the sound and light show at night, which is presented in different languages. Egypt was a prosperous part of the parts of the Roman Empire. It became truly wealthy. Several new cities were built in it. Among the most famous facilities in Egypt in the Roman era was the so-called Pharaoh’s bed, meaning Trajan’s kiosk, and this monument was built on the island of Philae, the Roman ruler.

Another great temple in amazing condition since it was moved from its original position to this little island, the light and sound show was also great and a very worthwhile visit if you're in the area of Aswan. Top tip, go to the restaurant on the banks of the mainland to the left of the port, great views and food to enjoy between day and evening events (have to return to mainland before night show)
