4th Dynasty Temple next to Great Sphinx and leading up to Khafre's Pyramid via a causeway. The core of the temple is limestone, but the inner and outer blocks are Aswan granite. The hypostyle hall has 16 Collumns. Most of the roof is missing.

Almost completely covered by the sands of time, the underground temple, located at the foot of the majestic Sphinx, which has been guarding the great pyramids of Giza for thousands of years. Che is reminiscent of a complex and intricate maze of a forgotten computer game shooter of our childhood.

One of the must place to visit in Cairo. These places and infras structure not well maintained. Becareful with the person act as an official and asking for money in the entrance.

This temple was constructed using massive blocks of stone and is a testament to the excellent masonry that was done to fit them together. It was used as a place to mummify the royals, thus not as intricatedly decorated. You can have a quick visit as you walk through it to visit the Sphinx.

the place in history gets 5 out of 5 but the way it is kept and surrounding does not meet your expectation. we flew from Sharm El Shakh to see Pyramids. We got there later as our flight was late. the place was closed. our tour guy paid 200 Egyptian Pound and got in. Private tour. can not be better. dont try it as you may get disappointed and not even go in.
