It's nothing remarkable, to be fair. A small museum, with some nice pieces of the ancient letters and documents, which was nice, and some ruins in its backyard. It has a nice view over the river, from the viewpoint amongst the temple ruins, and an ancient Nilometer, which is interesting, still not much. You won't spend more than 45 min there. There're couple of locals who would try to give you a pretty useless excursion without asking, just demanding money at the end for walking with you, my advice is to send them away from the beginning, their English is very bad and they are just useless. Walk around by yourself.

Beautiful place. You may also go up the temple for 100 egp or half if you have a students card.

This temple is beautiful, must see when sunset is close as you can make lovely photos with the high columns.

Khnum shall return. His time grows near. The new gods grow weak from decadence and degeneracy. Soon the coupling of ram with human will birth a being embodied with Khnum's Will made manifest. You cannot go to his temple to receive forgiveness, you can only go there to pray for mercy.
