It was AWESOME!! A lot of great spots to take photos, the workers there could even help taking your photo and don't worry about giving them your phone (of course you still have to be alert) they would be grateful if you gave them some change though. I hope you enjoy your visit there just like I did️️

Another wonderful historical landmark well worth the visit. And once again the usual complaints from me about lack of card facility , where I ran short of cash to allow my son to enter. Lost opportunity for him which is very unfortunate.

Another cool ancient Egyptian site. To be honest they’re all kind of running together at this point but this one is still cool. We paid 140 Egypt pound to get in and feel it was a bit steep, whatever. It’s definitely worth checking out. Just be sure to not fall for these weak a** bathroom attendants and fake guides running around trying to get from you. We walked from the ferry and it was very nice walking through the fields after the main road.

We visited the temple of the queen Hatshepsut in January 2019. The temple is located, close to Louxor and Karnak. It’s built against the wall of Thebes mountains. We were very impressed by both grandiose and pharaonic architecture of temple of Hatshepsut. Indeed, to go into the temple, we had to climb the stairs if 3 majestic superimposed terraces. We saw very beautiful paintings and low-relief carvings, including some representing the queen Hatshepsut queen as a man!!! A very fine temple in a spectacular and breathtaking landscape!!!

Historical places in Luxor will always be a destination that you want a taste of. Hatshepsut Temple is one of the greatest temples one could visit, especially that Hatshepsut was the first female ruler of ancient Egypt and she had a full authority as a pharaoh.

Amazing temple, still keeping its colors on some walls. You wondering how they figured out to build this temple in middle of rocky mountain. Worth to visit it. Keep bottle of water in hand. You will need it

The Temple of Hatshepsut or the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut is a temple from the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, and the best remaining temples were built about 3500 years ago in Deir el-Bahari, Egypt. It was built by Queen Hatshepsut on the west bank of the Nile opposite to Thebes (the capital of ancient Egypt and the seat of the Amun worship) (Luxor today). The Temple of Hatshepsut is distinguished by its unique architectural design, in comparison to the Egyptian temples that were built on the eastern bank of the Nile at Thebes. [1] The temple consists of three successive floors with open terraces. The temple was built of limestone, and in front of the second floor columns were erected limestone statues of the god Osiris and Queen Hatshepsut in a beautiful distribution. Originally, those statues were colored, and now only some monuments remain of the colors, and some statues are in very good condition, indicating the elegance and beauty of the temple's design
